Features Sharperlight is a combination of tools that make it so much more than a reporting solution.

We give you the ability to easily consolidate data from multiple sources, companies, departments and systems, that are on-premise, in multiple geographical locations and in the cloud.

Reports can be securely published on an ad-hoc basis, on a range of scheduled triggers or as part of an analysis workflow.

Data be can visualised as Excel reports with our XL-Add-in or published to a web page on our web channel or on a specific users dashboard. It can also then be automatically emailed to the relevant staff in your required format.

With Studio you build custom connectors to any data source including API’s, Webpages and MQTT sources.

Foundry gives you the ability to easily convert your operational spreadsheets into a system with a SQL database with web entry forms and allows for reporting from within the Query builder interface.

Businesses also use our Materialised Queries to create agile datamarts when they need to stage large disparate sets of data from multiple sources or systems, including Legacy systems and databases.

It is this collective functionality that sets us apart as a unique toolset without a direct competitor in the market.

Web Reporting

Web Reporting

Sharperlight can present dynamic tables, charts, pivot tables and presentation reports using its own web service. It has an application called Publisher, for managing and configuring these published queries. Each query can be filtered and refreshed in the web, and it will return the latest data.

  • The web content delivered through Publisher can be graduated with basic HTML4 tables, more complex HTML4 with Javascript automation, all the way to sophisticated HTML5 visualisations.
  • The core charting engine renders the graphics in HTML5.
  • Every published query has a unique web address referencing the query and the output style. This means each query can be uniquely referenced in a webpage, or in an email, or bookmarked in a web browser.
  • For pixel perfect report layouts, Publisher has a WYSIWYG report designer that can output reports to PDF, HTML and Microsoft Word.
