Sharperlight Engine Top Speeds

Basically the Sharperlight Engine can perform 2,400 Queries Per second on a single Thread where the database is running locally

and taking very little time to perform the query.  The Performance for a 10,000 row 3 column Report would be 44 Queries

per second per thread

Sharperlight Speeds when throttled by Network 100Mbps

The network is the greatest restriction here and Queries drop to 163 Queries p/sec for a single Aggregation

and 4.9 Queries p/Sec for the 10,000 row Report if your Connectoin Performance Test is around 270

The Connection Performance Test in Client Setup measures how many round trips can be done on your network

per seond to the Remote Server simular to a ping test.  If your result is higher say 700 p/sec because your

network is 1000Mbps instead of 100Mbps then you can safely double the results above.

Calculating Performance.

Add the network overhead and then the Database extraction time to the Sharperlight base line Performance

There is a Performance Tester Utility bundled with Sharperlight.

Previous performance testing of Cloud Services running VM 8 core and MySQL DB with 20 concurrent Performance Testers

pounding the site with query requests showed overall CPU usage did not exceed 10%.

These results will differ depending on your final environment setup
