Sharperlight has several different techniques for constructing dashboards. For example, they can be prepared in Publisher using a Report Layout but this method precludes the end users from changing and adding to the layout, directly in the web browser. To overcome this limitation, Dashboard Pages are a full browser interface that allows end users to create their own web pages that combine together web content. Dashboard Pages can contain multiple rectangular frames, called Tiles and these can be resized and positioned directly in a web browser. Each Tile is a container for web content and it references its source through a saved Content URL.
