Company Consolidation
It is possible to write reports that consolidate Company or Business Unit data using Sharperlight even though this may not be possible in the hosting Application. Sharperlight allows you to muli-select Companies in the Lookup and also Drag and Drop the Company/Business Unit filter into the outputs.
To consolidate Company data together, simply do not put the company into the output section. You may then later drilldown on the values and then select the Company as an output to break up the data by company
You can multi-select on the Company in the lookup by holding down the Control key when selecting.
Note:
If there are slight differences in the structure of the Companies then the first company in the selection list is used as the template for the others.

Notice you can drag Company from filter into outputs in Query Builder, if you want to show the output by Company.

If you have selected more than one Company then during Drilldown the Company or Business Unit will appear in the Selection List so that you may show the values by Company

Sharperlight SQL
In Data Preview Imformation Tab you may view the SQL generated if permissions allow.
You will notice that the Sharperlight engine generates a query for each company select and unions the results together.
