Introduction

This post will show you how to update a datamodel and make it works.

Steps

Download an official datamodel

Go to the website https://www.sharperlight.com/datamodels/ and explore the datamodel you’re interested in.

Stop the Sharperlight Service

Stop the Sharperlight service and close all open applications.

Update the datamodel

Open Sharperlight Application menu.

Select the target datamodel in the grid and click Update button and browse the datamodel downloaded.

Click Yes for the prompt message to proceed.

Click Finish button, once it is loaded. The datamodel will be compiled.

Start the Sharperlight Service

Go for Windows Service and start the Sharperlight Service.
