Installation with Complete Option
Introduction
“Complete” option is chosen when Sharperlight Application Server is set up. It installs all applications which are required and useful for behaving as the Sharperlight server.
Pre Processes
If this is the installation for upgrading the Sharperlight installed, Please do the following things.
- Stop the Sharperlight service (Notice the users prior to stop the service)
- Close all Sharperlight applications
- Close Microsoft Excel (If Microsoft Excel is installed on the application server)
Installation Steps
Download the installation file (.msi) from https://www.sharperlight.com/builds-current/.
Execute the installation file.
Click “Next” to proceed.
Click the check box for agreement.
Click “Complete” (Not required to tick the “Force the install even if there is a previous version installed.” checkbox)
Click “Install” button.
You would be asked to allow the installation to the windows system.
The installation process is kicked in.
Click “Finish” to complete the installation.
Post Process
Re-start the Sharperlight service.
