Service Health Check
Introduction
When it comes to computer software, it’s impossible for it to always work perfectly without any glitches. We rely on various monitoring functions and applications to detect abnormalities and investigate the cause. Sharperlight is no exception. In this post, we’ll introduce a feature that allows you to easily view error information provided by Sharperlight. This is supported in Sharperlight Version 7.0.28 and higher.
Practices
“Service Health Check” – this is the feature we are introducing.
It can be accessed from the main application menu.
When it is run on the Application Server will summarize and categorise all the errors and warning etc that appear in the Windows Event Viewer Log related to Sharperlight. This is useful to diagnose issues with the Service like Database connection errors while filtering out non-Sharperlight entries.
- You can specify the date range here, and you can also choose to display only exceptions from Sharperlight or include any other information related to Sharperlight.
- This button allows you to display the information filtered by the criteria.
