Introduction

This post shows you how to find the actual table and field names in SAP Business One using the Query Builder.

Practices

Open the Query Builder and select ‘SAP Business One’ as the product.

Table Information

Use the table lookup to select a table, then open the context menu and click on Information to view table details.

“OCAT” is the actual table name for “Chart of Accounts” table in Query Builder.

Field Information

Select “Chart of Accounts” table and choose “Control Account” field in the selection list, then open the context menu and click on Information.

With the Information dialog, go for “Technical” tab.

It shows the actual field name here.

Afterword

If the table or field names displayed in Sharperlight differ significantly from those shown in the SAP UI, use this function to identify the correct table or field.
